Retail theft is a national and local problem. We will support large, medium and small businesses, particularly those whose staff feel vulnerable or threatened.
Action taken:
We will target offenders and support retail staff throughout the area.

Priority:
Youths, usually on e-bikes, are being abusive and aggressive towards other users in the park and also local residents. This has sometimes resulted in assaults or damage.
Action taken:
We have and will continue to:
- conduct plain-clothes and unifromed operations in the park and surrounding areas
- pursue criminal and civil remedies where possible
- work with partners in retail, education and council to reduce the problems
- tell the community what we have been doing and what results we have had through local meetings and social media
