We aim to deliver an outstanding neighbourhood policing service.
We use partnership working, along with a problem-solving approach to issues to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour.
We provide support in other areas of day-to-day life through signposting people to our most suitable partner.

Retail theft is a national and local problem. We will support large, medium and small businesses, particularly those whose staff feel vulnerable or threatened.
Action taken:
We have arrested and charged the two main offenders causing the majority of problems in Crookes.
We have provided bespoke Conflict Resolution Training to retailers across North West Sheffield enabling them to recognise and deal with anti-social behaviour and aggression.
We have increased patrols in the areas where data shows the biggest problems are.
We have conducted patrols with South Yorkshire Combined Mayoral Authority to gauge progress and continuing issues. -
Priority:
Youths are abusing retail staff and being anti-social particularly around Taco Bell and KFC.
Action taken:
We have adapted our patrols from Hillsborough Park and moved our focus towards this area. We are working with local schools and retaillers to identify the offenders and take action. So far, this has included Acceptable Behavour Contracts issued in front of the parents.

Priority:
Local communities, particularly Stannington, Stocksbridge and intermediate villages, have concerns that driving whilst over the limit is becoming a problem. Data indicates that this will only increase as Christmas approaches.
Action taken:
The Deepcar team are traiing with your Road Policing Group to allow advanced testing using blood to complement normal breath tests and drug wipes.
We will be conducting road-side testing and increased patrols in these areas to combat this.
