The Independent Advisory Group (IAG) in Rotherham enables us to create a genuine partnership with our local and diverse communities.
Through that partnership, our members help us to achieve our policing priorities of protecting vulnerable people, tackling crime and antisocial behaviour and enabling fair treatment.
This web page will give insight into our IAG members' work and encourage more people to join us.

Rachael Wilson is CEO of Rush House in Rotherham, a charity supporting the most vulnerable and excluded people in the borough.
They provide supported accommodation to those in need and provide services to support young people with education, training and employment. Rachael has worked in both the statutory and voluntary sector in both Sheffield and Rotherham for over 20 years. She is passionate about empowering all vulnerable groups to be happy, healthy and safe.
Rachael is currently chair of Rotherham’s IAG and joint chair of Rotherham Children, Young People and Families Consortium.
