Your neighbourhood policing team
Hello! I’m Carl Goodwin and I’m the Inspector covering Rotherham North. I have 23 years service this year and have worked in response policing in Doncaster, Sheffield and Rotherham, before moving to join neighbourhood policing this year.
If you live in Rawmarsh, Swinton, Parkgate, Kilnhurst, Dalton, Wath, Manvers, Wentworth, West Melton, Brampton, Cortonwood, Harley, Manor Farm, Dalton, East Herringthorpe or Woodlaithes, we are your policing team.
Much of the area we cover is residential so getting to know our communities, hosting regular drop-ins and conducting targeted patrols around burglary are a few of our main priorities at the moment.

Increased calls from local residents, business owner & visitors to Cortonwood Retail Park, regarding nuisance vehicle issues at locality.

Neighbourhood Team taking a multi-agency approach & working closely with business & land owners, to help alleviate this issues -

Increased calls from business owners & visitors to McDonalds & Asda in regard to Youth related Anti-social Behaviour around locality.
Increased calls in relation to person/s begging at both stores.Action taken:
Directed daily patrols both uniformed & plane clothes officers Neighbourhood Team to work alongside business owners to help reduce issues in locality.
NPT to ID person/s causing issues in area.
