Annual Statement of Accounts
The audit of accounts for the financial year 2023/24 remains ongoing. The statutory deadline for audit completion was 28 February 2025. However, an extension has been granted to the external auditors, with the revised deadline set for 31 March 2025.
The scope of this audit covers an extended period from 1 April 2023 to 6 May 2024, following the legal transfer of all South Yorkshire Police functions to the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority on the 7 May 2024.
South Yorkshire Police continue to work closely with the external auditors to ensure the audit process is completed within the revised timeframe.
