Sheffield man Luke Thistlethwaite, 43, of no fixed abode, was jailed on Tuesday (5 November) for a series of offences.
On 29 October Thistlethwaite caused £500 worth of damage to a premises in Sheffield city centre.
On 4 November, he stole several items from H&M and The Card Factory on The Moor, worth over £340 in total.
Officers arrested Thistlethwaite the same day and he was found to be in possession of pregabalin and spice.
He was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting, burglary, criminal damage, possession of Class C drugs, and possession of Class B drugs.
He was charged with the above offences and appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court the following day.
He was sentenced to a total of five months in prison. The drugs were seized and destroyed.
