Two more men have been charged in connection with two firearms discharges which took place in Doncaster in May.
On Monday 18 May at 12.08am, it was reported that a property on Amersall Crescent, in Scawthorpe, had been shot at.
Later that day at 6.22pm, it was further reported that a man was shot on South Street, Highfields, and received serious injuries. He has since been discharged from hospital.
Thomas Wilson, 35, of HMP Doncaster, is charged with attempted murder and two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Simon Davies, 48, of Arthur Street, Doncaster, is charged with possession of a firearm and assisting an offender.
Both men appeared at Doncaster Magistrates' Court today (Friday 19 June).
Wilson has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on 17 July.
Davies has been remanded into custody ahead of a bail hearing at Sheffield Crown Court on 22 June.
Two other men, aged 22 and 39, and a 33-year-old woman, were earlier charged in connection with the incident. They have all been remanded into custody ahead of their next court appearances.
