We are appealing for information after an 80-year-old man has sadly died following a road traffic collision in Sheffield.
On Monday (2 September) at 1.24pm, it is reported that a blue Citroen C1 and a mobility scooter were involved in a collision on Penistone Road near to the junction with Herries Road South.
The ambulance service attended and an 80-year-old man, who was riding the mobility scooter, was taken to hospital and has now sadly died. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or those with relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, to come forward.
