I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the
following information which pertains to the number of speeding violations in
the UK between the months of July 2023 and August 2023.
Please may you provide data on:
• The number of Speeding fines and prosecutions given to drivers for
speeding in your jurisdiction between July 2023 and August 2023
• The top 10 locations with the highest number of fines.
Response
We approached a researcher for South Yorkshire Police’s Safety Cameras and
Ticket Processing Team, who provided us with the following
