I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information which pertains to the number of speeding violations in South Yorkshire between the months of May 2024 and August 2024. Please may you provide data on:
1. The number of Speeding fines and prosecutions given to drivers for speeding in your jurisdiction between May 2024 and August 2024
2. The top 10 locations with the highest number of fines.
Response
We approached a researcher for South Yorkshire Police’s Safety Cameras and
Ticket Processing Team, who provided us with the following:
