1. Street theft offenders for the years of 2018 to 2021 by nationality.

2. Thefts on specifically public transport offenders for the years of 2018 to
2021 by nationality.

Response

We approached our Crime Management Data Returns Administrator for assistance with your request. The Connect System is used to record complaints or allegations of those matters, which the Home Office specify should be recorded as ‘crime’.

They provided us the following explanation of their search criteria and the enclosed spreadsheet:

Criteria Used - Incident Created Date is between 01/01/2018 and 31/12/2021, SYP & crime only filter, HO Group Name is equal to / is in THEFT, Person Role is equal to SUSPECT, SUSPECT (ELIMINATED), SUSPECT (INSUFFICIENT TO PROCEED), SUSPECT (INTERVIEWED), SUSPECT (NO ACTION) EVIDENTIAL DIFF., SUSPECT (NO ACTION) TIME LIMIT EXPIRED, SUSPECT (NOT INTERVIEWED), SUSPECT (PROSECUTION PREVENTED), SUSPECT PRE ATHENA, Premises Type is equal to / is in Street / Road OR MO Desc 1 is equal to / is in Location, MO Desc 2 is equal to / is in Road.

2. Criteria Used - Incident Created Date is between 01/01/2018 and 31/12/2021, SYP & crime only filter, HO Group Name is equal to / is in THEFT, Person Role is equal to SUSPECT, SUSPECT (ELIMINATED), SUSPECT (INSUFFICIENT TO PROCEED), SUSPECT (INTERVIEWED), SUSPECT (NO ACTION) EVIDENTIAL DIFF., SUSPECT (NO ACTION) TIME LIMIT EXPIRED, SUSPECT (NOT INTERVIEWED), SUSPECT (PROSECUTION PREVENTED), SUSPECT PRE ATHENA, MO Desc 1 is equal to / is in Location, MO Desc 3 is equal to Bus, Bus - Coach/minibus. Public Service Vehicle, Train - Tram, All Rolling Stock, Underground - Metro, All Rolling Stock, Tram, Tramcar.
