1. • Number of Shopliftings in Sheffield “Southeast”, by area postcode for
(May, June, July 2024).
• Number of Shopliftings in Sheffield “Southwest”, by area postcode for
(May, June, July 2024).
2. • Total number of "Response" and "Neighbourhood" police officers for
Sheffield “Southeast”.
• Total number of "Response" and "Neighbourhood" police officers for
Sheffield “Southwest”.

Clarification
It is my understanding the below locations fall under Sheffield "Southwest":
S8 - Batemoor, Jordanthorpe, Lowedges, Beauchief, Greenhill, Meersbrook,
Norton, Woodseats, Meadowhead.
S17 - Bradway, Dore, Totley.
S2 - Heeley, Newfield Green, Arbourthorne, Highfield.
S14 - Gleadless Valley.
It is also my understanding the below locations fall under Sheffield
"Southeast":
S20 - Beighton, Crystal Peaks, Halfway, Mosborough, Owlthorpe, Plumbley,
Sothall, Waterthorpe, Westfield, Drakehouse.
S9 - Attercliffe, Brightside, Darnall, Tinsley.
S13 - Handsworth, Normanton Spring, Orgreave, Richmond, Woodhouse,
Woodthorpe.
I require number of shoplifting incidents recorded for each above stated area
for May, June, July 2024. If there are issues retrieving the data for each listed
area name, I will accept the number of shopliftings recorded for each partial
postcode. For instance, Number of Shopliftings for May 2024 in "S8" =
125...and so on....

with your request. An analyst within this unit has conducted a search of our Crime
Management System - Connect which records complaints or allegations of those
matters, which the Home Office specify should be recorded as 'crimes'. All our
systems are designed and used first and foremost for Policing Purposes and have
limited search capability. They provided me with the following explanation regarding
their search criteria:
