Under Freedom of Information since the introduction of Clare's Law please provide the number of instances when police provided disclosure on (i) on request and (ii) voluntarily out of concern for safety, per calendar year ending 31 December 2025.

Response

I approached South Yorkshire Police Protecting Vulnerable People team for assistance with your request, who provided the following explanation and data:

• Data pre-2018 is held on an old crime management system and I am unable to retrieve data from this.
• The information is based on the correct data being inputted into our current crime management system
