Police in Sheffield are appealing for information following a burglary at a public house in the city centre.

At 3:58pm on Thursday 14 July, a pub closed for the night in West Street. Unknown to them, a woman has hid in the premises and waited for the staff to lock up and leave.

Once the staff had left, it is reported the woman has unlocked the door, before taking around 30 bottles of spirits, worth approximately £450.

The woman is described as white, between 20 and 30 years old, with short to medium length light coloured hair.

Officers have issued a CCTV image in a bid to identify the woman pictured, who may be able to assist with ongoing enquiries.
