PCs Jasmine Hall, Liam Watson and Naz Gulzar talk about their roles in our videos.
Hear from our Chief Contstable Stephen Watson in this video:
Being a PC is a unique role with unique demands that are ever-changing. You need to be adaptable to change and ready to think on your feet.
In return, you will have the benefit of working for a creative, forward-thinking force that is dedicated to keeping South Yorkshire a safe place to live, work and visit.
Are you ready for a varied job? A job that is as much about supporting victims, providing reassurance and building relationships as it is about flashing lights and handcuffing offenders.
We are particularly keen to increase the number of women PCs, and PCs from black and minority ethnic communities so that we can truly reflect the communities that we serve in South Yorkshire. For more information about this click here.
There is no upper age limit for applying, but bear in mind that normal retirement age is 60 years and that new recruits are required to undertake a two-year probationary period. You will also need to have a full manual EU driving licence.
