Collision records
When officers attend a road traffic collision they write-up the details and put them together with other relevant material into an official record.
Insurers, solicitors and members of the public can request to see a record that relates to their case by writing to:

You should include as much information about the collision as possible, particularly the date, location, vehicle registration and the names of those involved.
There is a fee for providing this information and you can find a list of costs below.
