Man charged with alleged witness intimidation - 14 March 2015
A 21-year-old man has been charged with witness intimidation in connection with ongoing enquiries into allegations of non-recent child sexual exploitation.
Christopher Whiteley, from Sheffield, appeared before Sheffield Magistrates' Court this morning (Saturday 14 March) charged with witness intimidation. He has been remanded into custody to appear before Sheffield Crown Court at a later date. Read more

Barnsley man sentenced following sexual activity with a child - 13 March 2015
A Barnsley man has been jailed for three and a half years for committing sexual offences against a child.
Andrew Gosling, 21 of Masons Way, Kendray, Barnsley pleaded guilty to inciting sexual activity and three counts of sexual activity with a child under the age of 16.
Police began investigating after the parents of a teenage girl raised concerns that their daughter had become secretive and they suspected she may be being contacted by Gosling. Read more

Two men have been arrested as part of an investigation into non-recent allegations of child sexual exploitation in Sheffield and Rotherham. Read more

Three men arrested in connection with child sexual exploitation offences - 25 February 2015
Three men have been arrested as part of an investigation into non-recent allegations of child sexual exploitation in Sheffield and Rotherham.
The men, aged 21, 23 and 28- years- old, were arrested today (Wednesday 25 February) on suspicion of committing a number of sexual offences against underage girls between 2005 and 2009 in Sheffield and Rotherham. Read more

Barnsley man jailed for online offences against underage girls - 19 Febraury 2015
A Barnsley man has been jailed for 34 months after admitting offences committed against four underage girls he met on the internet.
Andrew Dawson, 28, of Garden House Close, Monk Bretton, was jailed today (Thursday 19 February) after pleading guilty at Sheffield Crown Court to four counts of inciting child prostitution.  Read more

A man has been charged with child grooming and sexual assault in connection with alleged offences against a 12-year-old girl in Rotherham. Read more

Rotherham man jailed for child abduction and trafficking offences - 10 February 2015
A man has been jailed after pleading guilty to child abduction and trafficking offences after abducting three young girls from a Rotherham park.
Vejuhadin Ghorbani, 37, of Park Mount, Rotherham, admitted one count of trafficking and two counts of child abduction.  Read more
