Darton and Dodworth Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) carried out a speed gun operation on Woolley Colliery Road, Darton and Keresforth Road, Dodworth after the issue on these roads was highlighted as a PACT (partners and communities together) priority.

 Sergeant Simon Grayson said, “171 vehicles were checked using the hand-held ‘gun’ and 5 were found to be driving over the 30mph speed limit. The drivers were advised of the dangers of speeding and told that they could face tough penalties such as a fixed penalty notice and points of their license if caught speeding again.”
