Witness appeal after fatal shooting in Broomhall

One man has died and three other men are in hospital after a shooting incident in Broomhall, Sheffield.

Police were called to Brunswick Street shortly after 6.30pm this evening, Wednesday 1 July, after reports were received of shots being fired in the area.

A number of cordons are in place around Brunswick Street and police ask the public to co-operate with officers at the location.

The one man who died was pronounced dead at the scene with the three injured men taken to the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield.

Detectives have begun a murder investigation so anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to call South Yorkshire Police on 0114 2202020.
