Police investigating a reported disturbance in the Abbeydale area of the city are appealing for witnesses.

It is believed a disturbance took place between a group of Asian males at around 6.30pm on Friday 19^th June 2009 on Abbeydale Road near to the old picture palace.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time or travelling past in a car or on public transport, who believes they may have witnessed this incident is urged to contact  DC Dave Ollerenshaw  at West Bar Police Station on 0114 296 4206 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
