Detectives in Sheffield are appealing to the public for help in identifying people caught on CCTV June 2009.

Police want to speak to these people in connection with a burglary that took place at La Bicicleta on Greystones Road, Ecclesall at around 12.40am on Wednesday 10^th June 2009.

It is believed a group of up to five men dressed in dark clothing with either baseball caps or hoods, had three attempts at forcing their way in to the premises to steal bikes and cash.

A member of staff who was inside the shop at the time confronted the intruders. A struggle took place between the staff member and some members of the group as he tried to protect his property.

The men eventually fled the scene empty handed in a silver Vauxhall Vectra. The car, previously reported stolen on the 4^th June was later found burnt out on Stanwood Road, Stannington.

DC Wayne Sanderson who is investigating the incident said:" As a result of the incident the complainant sustained facial injuries requiring medical attention. I would urge anyone who has any information in relation to this incident to come forward and speak to me in confidence.
