Appeal for witnesses to a robbery at Norfolk Heritage Park

Police investigating a knife-point robbery at Norfolk Heritage Park are appealing for witnesses or information.

 

The incident occurred at 9.50pm on Thursday June 11, 2009 near the City Road/Granville Road park entrance.

 

The 23-year-old man and his female friend were walking through the park when he was approached by a man with what is believed to have been a stanley knife.

 

Cash and a wallet were stolen but no one was hurt.

 

The male suspect is either black or mixed race, 6ft, of slim build and aged 18 to 22-years-old. He was wearing a blue hooded top with white stitching, dark tracksuit bottoms, white trainers, a dark-coloured baseball cap and a scarf covering his mouth.

 

Police are particularly interested in tracing a couple who were nearby when the robbery occurred.
