Police Appeal for Information - Sheffield
Officers investigating an incident in the Burngreave area of Sheffield are appealing for information from the public and for witnesses to come forward. The incident occurred around 10am on Saturday 21st February, on Pitsmoor Road in Burngreave. A 42 year old man was walking along Pitsmoor Road near to a public house, when three men have approached him. One of the men has then assaulted the 42 year old, in what is believed to be an unprovoked attack. The three men have then ran off along Pitsmoor Road. As a result of the incident the 42 year old man sustained a broken jaw and other minor injuries. The offender is described as a black man, aged between 18 and 19 years old, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, of slightly stocky build, with short cropped dark hair. He was wearing casual clothing.
