Police appeal following a robbery of a collection agent.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery which took place on Wednesday 25th March 2009 in the Wybourn area of the city.

The incident happened at around 6.00pm when a women working for a collection agency was robbed whilst working on Manor Oaks Gardens.

 Three males, two white men and a black man, approached her as she was getting into her car and grabbed hold of her bag.   As the woman struggled to hold on to her bag, she fell to the ground. The three men then fled the scene with the bag containing a substantial amount of money.

 Luckily, the woman only sustained minor injuries; however she was left very shaken by her ordeal.
