Police appeal after burglary in Heeley
Police investigating a burglary at a retail park in the Heeley area of the city are appealing for information from the public. Between the hours of 5.30pm and 7.20pm on Tuesday 20th January 2009, thieves forced open a large metal door at the Comet store on Guernsey Road. During the incident several large boxes containing TV stands were taken from the store. The doors where thieves gained access to the premises are situated down the side of the building opposite Dunelm Mill car park. It is believed the offenders may have had some type of vehicle to transport the items, that are described as large and very heavy.
