Police have arrested and charged a 24-year-old man in connection with an incident in which two women were allegedly kidnapped, robbed and one sexually assaulted.

Leonard NSHINDANO, of Sheffield, has been charged with two counts of kidnap and two counts of robbery after appearing at Sheffield Magistrates Court on Wednesday November 11.

Police are appealing for further information or witnesses regarding this incident, which occurred on Sunday November 8 between 7.10pm and 8pm in woodland between Leighton Road and Blackstock Road, Gleadless Valley, Sheffield.

Officers would particularly like to speak to a potential witness who disturbed the offenders with his/her torchlight.

The witness may have seen the offenders as he/she walked from the direction of Raeburn Road through the woods.

Officers are also keen to speak to two men, both black and in their early 20s, in relation to this incident.
