Police appeal following a robbery in the Attercliffe area of Sheffield.
Police are appealing for information from the public following a robbery in the Attercliffe area of the city.
The incident happened at a Jewellery Shop on Attercliffe Road around midday on Monday 19 July 2010.
Two men entered the shop and engaged in conversation with a member of staff regarding a purchase of jewellery.
The men then produced what is believed to be a knife, they threatened the assistant and forced him to the ground. The suspects then left premises with several items of jewellery.
The two men, both of a similar description fled the scene on foot. They ran through the cemetery on Attercliffe Road, alongside the River Don towards Bold Street.
They are described as having an Asian appearance, both aged around 20 years, of a slim build, 5ft 10ins tall. One of the men was wearing black gloves, and the other was carrying a black rucksack.
The shop assistant sustained minor injuries during the incident and was left very shaken, by his ordeal.
