Police appeal following an alleged robbery in Sheffield
Police are appealing for information from the public following an alleged robbery in the Parson Cross area of the city.
The incident happened at Tote Sport Bookmakers on Margetson Crescent at around 8.40pm on Thursday 01 July 2010.
A member of staff was in the shop when a man wearing a face covering, entered the premises, threatened the assistant and demanded money.
The man fled the premises with a very small amount of money from the till, he was heading in the direction of the old Colley School site towards Remington Road.
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of robbery, he is currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
Although an arrest has been made, police still need information from the public or for any witnesses to come forward.
