Lifewise drop-in for online services
The Lifewise centre is offering free advice on using the internet for online services.
The centre, in Rotherham, will be open for a free drop in session on Friday 3 February between 3.30pm and 6.00pm.
The initiative ‘New Year, new online you’ aims to inspire South Yorkshire to make 2012 the year they get online and discover all the benefits the internet has to offer.
South Yorkshire Police Project Officer, Andy Foster who works at the Lifewise centre said:
“This event is all about showing the people of South Yorkshire how the internet can help them. There are so many online resources available that can make a real difference to peoples lives and this is a great way to show people how to find them.”
Experts will be on hand to offer advice on a multitude of subjects and will be available to guide people through using the internet to find the information or subjects they are interested in.
Further information about the event can be found by contacting Lifewise on 01709 832 455 or emailing andy.foster@southyorks.pnn.police.uk
