Kendray Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) PCSO Rob Peacock has organised for 22 pupils from Kendray Primary School, Thornton Road, to visit the Mounted Section of the police who are based at Ring Farm, Cudworth.

The lucky children have been chosen by teachers at the school as a reward for their excellent attendance, particularly during the snowy weather in winter.

The visit will accompany their ‘Working with the community’ module which encourages youngsters to interact and engage with the police.

PCSO Rob Peacock said: “I visit the school several times a week and it’s great to be able to take the kids out of the classroom for a fun and informative experience. Any opportunity to introduce and connect the youngsters with the police is valuable in building strong relationships.”
