Appeal for witnesses to fatal incident in Woodlands
Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident which has resulted in a 15-year-old losing his life.
At 6pm yesterday (Sunday, 22 August) a black Renault Traffic panel van was travelling down Third Avenue from Welfare Road, Woodlands, Doncaster.
A 15-year-old local boy is believed to have been stood on the tow bar of the vehicle holding on to the roof.
The 15-year-old is then thought to have fallen from the van and sustained serious head injuries.
He later died in Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
The driver of the van, an 18-year-old local man, was not injured.
