Penistone Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) has organised a ‘Be Safe Event’ on Thursday 15 April, 11-2 at Silkstone Lodge, Silkstone.

Anyone is welcome to come along to receive free crime prevention and safety advice from Penistone SNT, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and Age Concern.

The SNT will be acting out scenarios, teaching the public the correct and incorrect way to deal with situations including doorstep callers.

There will be tea, coffee and light refreshments for all attendees.
