A man has died after an industrial incident at Forgemasters in Sheffield.

Police and fire officers were called to the premises on Brightside Lane at 11.10pm yesterday evening, Wednesday, 16 June.

The man was taken to the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield where he died in the early hours of this morning, Thursday, 17 June.

A joint investigation has been launched by The Health & Safety Executive and South Yorkshire Police.
