On Thursday 11^th Feb, Wombwell Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and Hoyland SNT attended an address at Aldham Cottages, Barnsley Road, following information being passed from members of the community.

Officers recovered 16 cannabis plants from the cellar with an estimated value of £4,800.

A 17-year-old local man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity. He was bailed until May pending further enquiries.
