Appeal for information - serious collision on A635 Doncaster Road
Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision which left an 11-year-old Barnsley boy in hospital.
The incident happened at 10.33am today, 7 August, on the A635 Doncaster Road at Kendray, Barnsley.
The boy, who is local, is believed to have stepped into the road from between two parked cars. He was then in collision with a silver Ford Focus, which was travelling towards Doncaster.
The youngster suffered a broken right leg and a bump to his forehead. He was taken to Barnsley District General Hospital where he has been detained.
