Summary of Policing Priorities

Taking into account the wide range of national and local information, some of which is shown at Appendix A, South Yorkshire Police and Police Authority have agreed the force strategic policing priorities for the period covered by the Plan.  These are:

3 Tackle crime at all levels

The offences shown are not common, but when they occur, they can have a major impact upon you and your feelings of safety.  We work not only to solve those crimes that have been committed, but also with you to prevent them being committed, and with our partners to deter those who may turn to offending.
