I have received the above Notice of Intended prosecution regarding an alleged speeding offence committed on 19/11/2011 by vehicle registration XXXX XXX.

I am naturally anxious to determine the true facts in this case offer you my full cooperation in this matter.  I am therefore writing to request the following information, and I would appreciate this information being released to me at the earliest convenience, so that I may fulfil my obligations in relation to your allegation.

I would like to request;

  1. Copies of photographs taken recording the alleged offence
  2. Confirmation of the time interval between the photographs
  3. Access to the video footage recording the alleged offence
  4. A copy of the calibration certificate and maintenance records of the equipment used
  5. Confirmation that the equipment is type approved by the Home Office
  6. Copies of any other documentary evidence

Photographic evidence has already been provided to you from the Safety Camera Partnership Administration Manager.

Question 2

There can be no confirmation of the time interval between the photographs as a Truvelo Combi SMC Camera only takes one photograph.

Question 3

There is no access to any video footage recording the alleged offence as the cameras do not record video footage.
