     1) Financial year (1 Apr-31 Mar)
     2) Gender (where possible under the time constraints imposed by
     the Act)
     3) Local Authority District

I approached the Force Domestic Abuse Co-ordinator for the information you seek. A search for data based on the victim’s gender brought back the statistics contained on the enclosed spreadsheet. Please note that data for incidents is not available prior to 2006, as this was when the register was established.
