South Yorkshire Police does not hold the information you have requested in a format that would allow it to be located, retrieved and extracted within the statutory appropriate limit. The force only records the amount of overtime at the point when that overtime is paid to the person claiming it. Where a properly authorised claim for overtime is received prior to the required accounting date then payment for that overtime is included on the next occurring pay day. However it is not uncommon for claims to be submitted some time after the overtime is worked thereby missing the next occurring accounting date and resulting in the payment being made some pay periods later.

The information below relates to the numbers of hours claimed and paid in the months of November and December 2009 and January 2010 together with November and December 2010 and January 2011. In the main this will be a substantial reflection of the overtime hours worked in October, November and December 2009 and October, November and December 2010 HOWEVER IT CANNOT BE TAKEN AS A TRUE AND COMPLETE PICTURE OF THE HOURS WORKED AND PAID IN THOSE PAY PERIODS AS IT MAY INCLUDE HOURS WORKED IN PREVIOUS PAY PERIODS AND CLAIMED LATER.
