Please could you provide me with details of transport arrangements for your chief constable and other Acpo-ranked officers in your force?

1) Could you tell me what model of vehicle(s) and how many are currently provided for use by your chief constable and other Acpo-ranked officers during this financial year and were available during the previous two financial years?

2) Could you also tell me how many officers and civilian staff are employed to drive the vehicle(s) currently and for each of the last two financial years and give a breakdown of the cost per year of paying these staff and for providing the vehicle(s), including the cost of leasing the vehicle(s) if appropriate, fuelling, maintaining and repairing them?

3) Finally, could you tell me, if appropriate, how much the vehicle(s) cost to buy and when they were bought?

2) The Chief Constable has a police staff (‘civilian’). Currently the salary attracted by this post is between £16,512 and £18,648. All other members of Senior Command Team drive themselves. On the very rare occasions that they need a driver, the Chief Constable’s driver does the job if available, if not a driver from Vehicle Fleet Management is used.
