Collisions have reduced on this stretch by 50%, Killed and Seriously Injured (KSI) and by 25%, Slight Injury Collisions (SIC) in the period 2003-2008, compared with the baseline period.  This equates to a reduction, on average of 1.67 KSI (5 in a 3 year period) to 0.83 (5 in a 6 year period) and on average 8.67 SIC (26 in a 3 year period) to 6.5 (39 in a 6 year period).
