Please provide data on the following firearms offences for the year to December 2007, plus the previous four years:

1. Simple possession of a firearm.
2. Trafficking of firearms.
3. Adaptation of a firearm.
4. Other firearms offences not included in above categories 1 to 3, which are also not included the statistical bulletin data.
 
The aim of this inquiry is to determine how many firearms offences are recorded by your force, but which are not included in the statistical bulletin.

Please Note: There will always be a large number of offences which are not firearms offences per se where a firearm has been used eg. A robbery involving a firearm, or criminal damage where a BB gun has been fired at a building or item of personal property. These are not firearms offences and are therefore not covered by the statistics provides.
