Terrorist threat assessments are compiled by the Security Service for and on behalf of the Government. Current assessments are available from the Home Office website or the MI5 website.

The Security Service have produced a booklet containing security advice and information for those who are responsible for the safety of others in businesses and in other organisations
Counter-Terrorism Security Advisers
Counter Terrorism Security Advisers (CTSAs) from NaCTSO (National Counter Terrorism Security Office) provide a point of contact for the business sector. CTSAs can assist and advise on matters relating to terrorist crime prevention including:
- Dealing with bomb threat telephone calls
- Building searches and evacuation
- Contingency planning for terrorist incidents
- Dealing with suspect packages
- Physical building security
