Architectural Liaison Officers (ALOs) are able to advise Architects, Planners, Developers and other professionals on the principles of Secured By Design. They also provide training to relevant agencies. ALOs can offer free impartial advice on a range of projects including:

• Large housing schemes
• Public Buildings
• Educational premises
• Commercial premises
• Parking facilities, Park Mark and many more

Adopting the Secured By Design principles has been proven to reduce both crime, antisocial behaviour and the fear of crime. ALO consultation in the early design and planning stages also reduces overall costs for those concerned.
